History Makers is a collection of true short stories tailor-made for reading aloud. Each mini-biography or historical snapshot offers a ten-minute window into the lives of notable figures and impactful events. A set of follow-up discussion questions is included with each chapter to spark conversation and reminiscence. The stories can be easily blended with other activity programs focused on the figures or events such as trivia, movie screenings, “Name That Tune,” and other games to create a memorable journey through history.
